What You Will Be Doing:

You will be working within the Audit and Compliance department and will be responsible for scheduling external Contract Monitoring visits and supporting this function in line with business and commissioner requirements. You will also support the management of database information to store sensitive information. This role will also facilitate internal meetings/training requirement by managing room bookings and organising meetings and preparing documentation as directed by management


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • To ensure that the data is held securely by the administration of logins to CRM systems. 
  • To support, as directed by the Compliance Manager, all activities relating to local audits or inspection by the customer or other parties.
  • Manage room bookings and organise meetings and prepare materials/documents as directed by management.
  • Provide administration functions, including correspondence, typing, telephone calls, filing systems, maintaining records, photocopying as directed by line manager.
  • To support the wider Compliance team in any other activities relating to the efficient running, monitoring and review of the department 
  • Record minutes from compliance meetings to ensure the department is informed fully of strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement.

Required skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience gained in a fast paced environment of the manipulation of data to inform work priorities and of the presentation of such data verbally and in the format of written reports.
  • Practical experience of database management and the processing of complex information.
  • Demonstrable experience of being able to absorb complex information quickly and present it in a way that can be understood by all levels within the business.
  • Very high communication skills and excellent attention to detail, in particular when processing large volumes of information
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Exceptional time keeping and organisational skills, including the ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities in consultation with line manager
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  • A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma
    • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage. 

 

Desirable Attainments:   

  • Exposure and understanding of contractual requirements of at least DWP or ESFA provision.
  • Experience of IT systems design and implementation.
  • Exposure to compliance, audit, or quality functions with high profile Government                                                   contracts.
  • Experience of the development and improvement of a Compliance Strategy and associated support frameworks.
  • Previous experience of working in a compliance function including experience of contract monitoring and MI production
