You will lead in the preparation and development of key management information to enable efficient and effective compliance reporting across the business’ portfolio of government and public-sector contracts. Day-to-day duties will involve the creation of reporting suite of MI, periodic review of MI, performance reporting of teams, researching reporting requirements for a variety of stakeholders and contributing collaboratively with key stakeholders. A core aim is to ensure business reporting requirements are delivered in an efficient and cost effective manner that will ensure usage of the BI tool is maximised. Key Responsibilities: - Designing a Reporting Suite that supports the business in ensuring compliance is delivered and that requirements to achieve this are understood - Designing a productivity tracker to ensure department performance is accurately recorded. - The development of BI tool generated reports to facilitate ad-hoc reporting requests - To research the internal and external reporting requirements of existing and newly awarded contracts by proactively determining the information needs of key stakeholders including Operations and Supply Chain Management. - To provide input from a reporting perspective into future developments of the BI Tool and other MI reporting tools used in the business including writing business cases specifications for new reporting requirements

Professional Experience:

Essential Criteria: Previous experience in a data analysis role - Demonstrable advanced VB skills - Demonstrable advanced excel spreadsheet skills with pivots, macros and look-ups - Experience of developing informative management information that meets the needs of its target audience - Ability to analyse performance data and trends to identify unusual issues or discrepancies and investigate and understand their cause, recommending any remedial action necessary. - Ability to present complex management information to all levels in the organisation Desirable Criteria: - Exposure and understanding of contractual requirements within provision/services commissioned by government bodies. - Direct experience of the Welfare to Work / Skills sectors. - Having knowledge of and using commissioner systems such as the ESFA’s ‘Hub’ and / or DWP’s ‘PRaP’ systems. - Understand the contractual requirements in terms of evidencing performance, validation requirements across DWP and / or ESFA provision. - Previous experience of using Business Intelligence products
