The Compliance Data Analyst will lead in the preparation and development of key management information to enable efficient and effective compliance reporting across the business’ portfolio of government and public-sector contracts. Key Responsibilities: - Designing a Reporting Suite that supports the business in ensuring compliance is delivered and that requirements to achieve this are understood. - The preparation of regular period performance management information including the consolidation of reporting packs required to support the Compliance department and branch operational management - To research the internal and external reporting requirements of existing and newly awarded contracts by proactively determining the information needs of key stakeholders including Operations and Supply Chain Management. - To provide input from a reporting perspective into future developments of the BI Tool and other MI reporting tools used in the business including writing business cases specifications for new reporting requirements - To assist the Senior Compliance and Audit Manager & Compliance Manager in responding to ad-hoc management information reporting requests

Professional Experience:

Essential Criteria • Previous experience in a data analysis role • Demonstrable advanced VB skills • Demonstrable advanced excel spreadsheet skills with pivots, macros and look-ups • Ability to analyse performance data and trends to identify unusual issues or discrepancies and investigate and understand their cause, recommending any remedial action necessary. • Demonstrable experience of management of multiple (in tandem) projects. • A minimum of 2 A-Levels (or equivalent Level 3 qualification); and a GCSE English at grade A or B OR a 2:1 or equivalent attainment in a degree (or equivalent level 6 qualification) Desirable Criteria: • Exposure and understanding of contractual requirements within provision/services commissioned by government bodies. • Direct experience of the Welfare to Work / Skills sectors. • Having knowledge of and using commissioner systems such as the ESFA’s ‘Hub’ and / or DWP’s ‘PRaP’ systems • Understand the contractual requirements in terms of evidencing performance, validation requirements across DWP and / or ESFA provision. • Previous experience of using Business Intelligence products
