We are a public service provider specialising in skills training for the long-term unemployed, working with employers and providing youth services. Our Learning & Development department ensures all staff are fully trained and have opportunities for Continued Professional Development.

The role

The role of Curriculum, Learning & Development Executive involves designing, delivering and evaluating materials and interventions for Reed in Partnership staff and participants on our programmes. The role also involves scheduling, coordinating and managing internal training events, updating and maintaining internal training systems and any other duties as notified to you from time to time by your line manager. The Curriculum, Learning & Development Executive will need to be organised, flexible in their approach and be able to travel to a variety of sites throughout the UK to deliver training and coaching.

Skills & experience

Essential Criteria: • Minimum Level 4 teaching or training qualification (e.g. C&G 7407, PTLLS Level 4) and a minimum 2 years’ experience of delivering training. • Assessor qualified - CAVA/TAQA Qualification (or equivalent) to be able to carry out the assessment part of the role. This will include assessing on a variety of internally delivered qualifications using all types and methods of assessment. • Ability and willingness to travel nationally and a willingness to work flexible hours • Demonstrated excellent written communication skills and ability to adapt writing style to different audiences • Substantial evidence of outstanding training delivery • Ability to write assessment criteria that is SMART Desirable Criteria: • Previous experience working in Welfare to Work or ESF/SFA funded organisations • Experienced practitioner holding a CIPD qualification in L&D and/or a coaching qualification • Experience of designing online learning/instructional design/digital content development
